Molly The Border Terrier - Dog Photography in Bushy Park, London

With her second gotcha day fast approaching, Fleur and I headed to Bushy Park in Richmond, London to celebrate her border terrier Molly. With an early start to the day, we had the park completely to ourselves for a gorgeous sunrise. Though we had met a year or so before at a dog-friendly event, it was lovely to see the both of them in one of the places Molly enjoys the most.

ABOUT MOLLY’S DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

Molly is an adorable little character. After frolicking around in the morning dew, she dried off with a tactical little chinchilla-like roll on one of the park’s paths. Her human, Fleur, is just as lovely as Molly is. She is keen for Molly to enjoy her walks however she would like to, as long as she is being safe and happy. Molly was clearly thrilled to be in Bushy Park, and ever watchful for squirrels - something she enjoys doing. This meant that her portraits quintessentially Molly, an authentic representation of her life as I captured her in a variety of settings while she enjoyed the world around her. Here are some of her photographs:

After the session, I started work retouching the final gallery. When I met Fleur and Molly to reveal them - Fleur was overjoyed! It took some time to deciding which ones to keep, and in the end it was decided that Fleur wanted them all! She decided on the middle collection, which features a showcase frame and a beautiful print box containing the rest of the photographs.

OWNERS THOUGHTS ON THE DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

I first met Amie at a dog-friendly event last year, where during a 20-minute photo shoot session Amie captured some stunning photos of our Border Terrier Molly. I started following her on Instagram and have been a huge fan of her work ever since.
So, when it came to celebrating Molly’s 2nd Gotcha Day, I knew we had to have Amie photograph Molly for the occasion.

From start to finish, Amie was amazing, super chilled and really kind. The photoshoot was arranged to take place outdoors in one of Molly’s favourite parks, so there were lots of distractions! Amie and Naomi were super patient and used their experience to find potential good spots to photograph Molly, making sure Molly was comfortable throughout. The session felt like a fun morning stroll in the park rather than a photoshoot! Meeting Amie again for the photo viewing was so exciting, I was thrilled with every single one of the final photographs! The way Amie harnesses light and detail while capturing stunning candid shots in the most beautiful way, is a gift. I simply love her style, photography, and editing. Amie strives to ensure the photographs, prints and wall art are everything you envisage, and nothing is too much trouble… Amie even helped us choose where to display the wall art in our house.

If you’re looking for gorgeous, artistic prints and wall art of your pooch to treasure forever, do not hesitate to choose Amie, she is by far one of the most talented dog photographers out there. The beautiful photographs are a testament to her incredible work.
